CONGRATULATIONS YORKSHIRE CUP CHAMPIONS!!! In a strong finish after two weeks of international soccer, the Cal Heat Boys 85 team played in the semifinal match at the Yorkshire Cup against Pine Villa, winning 3-0 on their way to the finals.
In the finals, they rematched against Moston Brooks, whom they tied in match play the day before. Thanks to the job of some stronger referees and better play by the boys, they came out on top, beating their opponents 3-0, and coming away with the championship!
The team ended the two weeks with a record of 11-2-1, scoring 37 goals in all and allowing only 3 goals throughout the two tournaments.
